Navigation Receivers


Interactive Navigation Receivers

Description

The Navigation Receivers at the bottom left and right corners of the ND displays information regarding nav stations you have tuned in the RADNAV page of your MCDU. It displays five pieces of information:

  • Active Nav Station
  • Reminder Information
  • Identifier or Frequency
  • DME Distance
  • Manual Tuning
  • VOR Bearing Correction

Active Nav Station

VOR1: Indicates the VOR receiver that is currently being displayed on the Navigation Display (ND). The pilots can display VOR1 or VOR2 via the EFIS Control Panel

ADF1: Indicates the ADF receivers currently being displayed on the Navigation Display(ND). The pilots can display ADF1 or ADF2 via the EFIS Control Panel

Identifier or Frequency

M stands for manually tuned in the MCDU R stands for tuned through the RMP (Radio Management Panel) Nothing stands for automatically tuned by the FMGC
